These terms explain how Home Cooked Meals works, including order requests, pre-orders, delivery, payment and service limitations.

Use of Website

This website is provided by Home Cooked Meals for information, menu browsing, delivery information, contact messages and order requests for homemade meals.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to submit false details, misuse forms, interfere with the website or attempt to disrupt the service.

Orders and Pre-orders

An order means a request for food for today, where same-day availability is shown. A pre-order means a request for a future date, usually from tomorrow onwards.

Pre-orders may be limited to the next 3 days, depending on the current settings, ingredient planning and cooking schedule.

The current minimum order amount is £15.00. This helps us keep the service practical, because homemade food, ingredients, preparation time, packaging and local delivery all create real operating costs.

Submitting an order request does not mean it is automatically accepted. Your order is confirmed only after we review availability, delivery area, minimum order and timing.

Food Availability

Meals are prepared in small batches and availability can change depending on ingredients, time, family commitments, demand and cooking capacity.

There may be days or periods when no orders can be accepted. This can happen because this is a small home-based food service and availability depends on real-life scheduling.

We may adjust, decline or cancel an order request if an item is no longer available, if the requested quantity cannot be prepared, or if delivery cannot be arranged safely and practically.

Payments

Online payment is not currently available on this website.

Payment is currently arranged directly after confirmation, usually by cash on delivery or collection unless another method is agreed with us.

Card payments, online payments or other payment options may be introduced later, and these terms may be updated when that happens.

Delivery

Delivery is currently local and personal, mainly within and the delivery zones configured on the website.

Delivery availability can depend on postcode, distance, route, order size, preparation schedule and available time slots.

Some delivery areas may have their own minimum order amount, minimum portions or delivery fee. These can be shown dynamically on the delivery page based on the configured delivery zones.

Privacy and Website Data

When you use forms, submit an order request, contact us or use website tools, some information may be processed so we can respond, manage requests, improve reliability and protect the service.

We aim to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for communication, delivery, order handling, security and website operation.

Service Limitations

This is a small, self-employed, home-based food service. We make reasonable efforts to provide clear information, prepare food carefully and deliver as agreed.

However, we cannot guarantee that every dish, delivery time, delivery area or order request will always be available.

We are not responsible for:

  • Dishes, ingredients or quantities becoming unavailable.
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, preparation issues or circumstances outside our control.
  • Indirect losses or expectations based on an order request that has not yet been confirmed.
