Allergen Information
Important information about allergens, ingredients and order confirmation.
Allergen information
This page explains how Home Cooked Meals provides allergen information, how customers should check dish details and how allergy or dietary concerns should be raised before an order is confirmed.
Important Allergy Notice
Home Cooked Meals provides allergen and ingredient information to help customers make informed choices before sending an order request.
If you have a food allergy, intolerance, coeliac disease or a strict dietary requirement, you must tell us clearly before the order is confirmed. Please do not rely only on the dish name, photo or short description.
Submitting an order request does not confirm that a dish is suitable for an allergy or dietary requirement. Suitability must be checked and confirmed before the order is accepted.

Checking Individual Dish Pages
Each dish page may show ingredients, declared allergens, dietary tags and notes relevant to that dish.
Because homemade meals are prepared in small batches, ingredients can sometimes change due to availability, recipe adjustments or supplier changes. If anything is unclear, ask before ordering.
Before sending an order request, please check:
- The dish name, description and portion information.
- The ingredients listed on the dish page.
- Any declared allergens or dietary notes.
- Any message from us confirming changes, substitutions or availability.
Before Placing an Order Request
Please write any allergy, intolerance, coeliac disease or dietary requirement clearly in the order notes. Include the ingredient or allergen that must be avoided and who the requirement applies to.
We review order requests manually. If your note raises an allergy or dietary concern, we may contact you before accepting the order, adjust the order or decline it if we cannot safely or practically meet the requirement.
Do not treat the order as accepted until we confirm it. If the allergy information is important, wait for our reply before relying on the order.
Allergen Information at Delivery
When an order is confirmed, we aim to ensure the delivered food matches the dish and allergen information discussed or shown before confirmation.
If the recipe, ingredients or availability changes before the order is final, we aim to tell you so that you can decide whether to continue with the order.
When food is delivered or collected, please check that the dish matches your confirmed order. If anything appears different or unclear, contact us before eating.
